Nice dinner with awesome friends.. Nice breakfast with more friends.. laundry, tv, laundry, pizza, laundry, movie, laundry.. Today is a good day.
We made another step in an attempt to break free from the societal mold today. The decision was made NOT to bring our clean, folded laundry from the basement to the attic – where our bedroom is, but where closet space is limited, and with 2 flight of antique, curly stairs are in between. Instead, we have 2 7 foot tall x 3 foot wide shelves for all of our foldable clothing and plumbing pipes to hang everything else. A couple of bins for socks, underwear, etc on the floor, and from now on, our clothing will all be in one place.

And now for something completely different

I think I need some spice in my life. I’m starting to feel like one day blends into the next which blends into the next, and so on, and so on, and so on.. On Mondays, I go to work, rush home to have dinner, create a workout and go swim, come home and go to sleep. Tuesdays (if I’m not travelling) I’ve been having a therapy appointment right after work, then dinner, then sleep. Wednesdays are the same as Mondays. Thursdays it seems I’m late at work catching up on 3 days worth of procrastination, and Fridays its work, maybe the bar, and then sleep — unless we have kids for the weekend, then its work, dinner, sleep.
I need some spice.

Ok.. so Chrismas came, and I went to the UP for4 days with my family (Nick had to work though and couldn’t go .. bummer.. ), and then I was in california for the better part of a work week (for work, duh), and then I was in Indiana – where I got the flu -, and then it was cousin, kids, dogs, swim meet…
one week all at home .. and then its back to indiana..
gettin tired..
If I go there will be trouble…If I stay there will be double..

Pre-school, kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school, college. All in preparation for what? To become a well-rounded community serving individual? To be prepared for your career choice? Do we even remember? I’m not exactly sure what that all prepared me for ..
